I was sinking deep in sin,
Had no peace or joy within,
Then I, Then I saw the light!
I knew God could put me right, but I kept wand'ring day and night 'til I, 'til I saw the light.
I tho't I was having fun, when my life was on the run;
God came down and changed my ways,
Turned my darkest nights to days!
I'm no longer deep in sin,
I've got peace and joy within;
