Waters darkened, stealthy silhouettes dive
To reach the place whence temptations derive
A sea of passions, of unbridled desires
Violently swells before such regal lures
A splendour infernal
Beauty, darker through her whims
Drowning men neath the rapture streams...
Fright had woken the fiercest evil spells
Seduction decked out in death's jewels
Musing on the disarray of fates inclined
To quiver and bewail to the touch of her frosty nails
Pure and strong on ways so long
Lo! She intones enthralling songs
Wolfing down the flame in your eyes
Verses like the ice that freezes even the gods
(... And no sign from heavens)
Once in the empire, bear the pain
Beyond grace, behind faiths
As tortured pleas, wails rise from her domains
Thus nature's destructive side unveiled
And reigns a sombre star, sowing fear
Amongst the weakened hearts of men...
