As we lock ourselves alone inside our houses, peer through blinds at empty streets.
A dysfunctional lifestyle, a society where we ignore the problems.
If we close our eyes there is nothing there to see.
It takes a brave man to die on his land for freedom,
It takes a braver man to share his land for peace.
We can’t hear each other speak if we’re both talking.
A compromise does not define loss or defeat.
And we all stand alone.
In our gated culture, where we hide behind the fences we've created,
we vilify other ways of life.
So let's drop our weapons, can we end the war on values that are different?
