Uma vez eu estava no sopé de uma montanha muito alta
Que eu queria tanto a subir
E no topo desta montanha tinha uma bela fonte
Que flui com a água da vida
Eu caí de joelhos ao pé da montanha
Eu chorei, "O Senhor o que devo fazer?"
Eu quero escalar esta montanha, eu quero beber dessa montanha
Que flui de forma limpa na minha opinião
Então, ouvi uma voz doce a partir do topo desta montanha
Dizendo: "Criança põe a mão na minha
Comecei a subir lentamente assistir seus passos nas bordas
E tomar um passo de cada vez
Comecei a subir para cima tomando um passo de cada vez

I'm still climbing upward and my journey's almost ended
I'm nearing the top and you ought to see the view
