Eu estava abatido e não achava necessidade de viver
Andei por aí com o luar me guiando
Encontrei um homem sentado perto de uma árvore
Me dirigi a ele e pedi:
"Você poderia me ajudar, por favor!"
Então o homem olhou pra cima e fixamente pra mim
Seus olhos ostentavam sabedoria e alívio
Seus lábios não se moviam enquanto eu o ouvi dizer
O que eu ouvi, eu senti em mim
- "Você está condenado eternamente!"

Mas o homem apenas olhou para longe e sorriu
Á medida que ele lentamente desapareceu
Diante de meus olhos
Deixado sozinho mas com um objetivo de viver
Fui a lua para seguir como um guia para minha libertação

But the man just looked away and smiled
As he slowly faded before my eyes,
Left alone but with an aim to live
Went the moon to follow as a guide to my release.
